Scream a song at the top of your lungs, with your windows rolled down. Have a complete breakdown when your favourite character on a show dies. Make sure the people you love know it. Keep promises. Hold hands with a friend when taking a walk. Share a secret. Find someone or something to love. Pretend noone is watching you every once in a while. Try on expensive dresses. Change your accent for a day. Run outside during a storm. Drive really fast down an old dirt road. Run across the beach and into the ocean like you did when you were five. Find your favourite song and listen to it once a day. Tell someone they’re beautiful. Aim to be fearless. Do what makes you happy. Have a day where you just don’t look in a mirror once. Dance round your bedroom. Eat marshmallows. Read some Shakespeare. Buy a train ticket and see how far away you can get from where you started. Take photographs but remember that sometimes it’s enough just to see it with your eyes. Change your hairstyle. Try a sport you’ve never done. Decide to embrace the things that you dislike. Curl up in bed with a film and a friend. Smile.
